Abu Salma (orig. Abd al-Karim al-Karmi) (Arabic: عبد الكريم الكرمي), (1907–1980) was a Palestinian poet. Abu Salma was born in Haifa, Palestine. He studied law and worked in Haifa in Palestine until April 1948. He then moved briefly to Akka and then to Damascus. He was a friend of Ibrahim Touqan. Abu Salma was awarded The Lotas International Reward for Literature in 1978 by The Association of Asian and African Writers. * Unknown prize by an unknown association.
