Abdul Qader Saleh (Arabic: عبد القادر صالح, Abdul Qader Saleh; 1979 – 17 November 2013) was one of the founders of the Tawhid Brigade. A merchant from the town of Mare' north of Aleppo, He was married with five children.
Saleh organized many rebel brigades in the region. He was also known as Hajji Mare'. He had led the capture of half of Aleppo at the beginning of the Battle of Aleppo (2012–13). Saleh had survived at least two assassination attempts. He died on 17 November 2013, as a result of an air raid on the Infantry Academy of Al-Muslimiyah north of Aleppo. Saleh was a part of the Free Syrian Army official command structure and had ties to local Islamist factions mainly Ahrar ash-Sham.
