Abdul Karim Chowdhury is an Indian politician and the present Minister for Mass Education Extension and Library Services in the Government of West Bengal. He is also an MLA, elected from the Islampur constituency in the West Bengal state assembly election, 2011. Before this term he had been elected for 5 terms in MLA. He is one of the veteran leader of West Bengal. He is very down to earth.
Chowdhury is a graduate from Siliguri College under the North Bengal University.
