Somali security minister speaks out on Jazeera Hotel attack
Abdirizak Omar Mohamed is a Somali politician. He belongs to the Hawadle subclan of the Hawiye. He was the minister of Natural Resources in Abdi Farah Shirdon cabinet from November 8, 2012 till the cabinet was ousted in December 2, 2013. He then became the Senior Policy Advisor to the President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. He is the Minister of National Security, having been appointed to the position on 27 January 2015 by Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke.
