Abdel Nasser Barakat (born 15 May 1976) is a Palestinian football manager of, who was an attacking midfielder for Al-Bireh until he retired. He was the head coach on an interim basis for the Palestine national football team for a single match in 2011. He took over the Palestine national football team in May 2015 after guiding the Olympic side for two years.
Coaching career
Barakat got his coaching start while still playing for West Bank side Al-Bireh as a 23 year old he took control of the club's youth's sides and excelled- guiding them to several local championships. His success with Al-Bireh's youth sides led to him being offered coaching opportunities with the youth ranks of the national team.
