A.R. Natarajan was a disciple of Sri Ramana Maharshi who wrote, commented and published numerous books on his guru. He was the president and founder of the Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning, the Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi Research Centre and the vice-president of the Ramana Kendra.He was instrumental in establishing the Ramana Kendra in Delhi. He was the editor of the journal The Mountain Path.The credit for building The Ramana Shrine and Meditation Hall in Bangalore goes to Mr.A.R.Natarajan, that is ARUNACHALA RAMANA NATARAJAN. who got the road near the Ramana Shrine in Bangalore named as " Ramana Maharshi Road" In his poorvashram before taking up spiritual services, Mr.A.R.Natarajan served in the Indian Revenue Service as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax for Karnataka and later on served as Member of The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) But for the efforts put in by Shri.A.R.Natarajanji, people of Delhi and Bangalore would not have had an opportunity to learn about Bhagwan Shri Ramana Maharshi, the Greatest Jnaani of Modern times who guided people for 54 years to EXPERIENCE the Greatest Truth by a Simple process by asking the question "WHO AM I?" His regular articles in the monthly Journa. "THE RAMANA WAY" have been compiled into books like "DIVINITY-Here & Now". He had written, commented and published more than two dozen books- all dedicated to the Teachings of Bhagwan Shri Ramana Maharshi.
