The Queensland Women's Australian Football League (QWAFL) is the highest league in the State, providing elite women footballers the opportunity to play in a semi-professional environment. The second-tier of women's football in South-East Queensland is the Queensland Women's Amateur Football League (QWAFA), which was introduced in 2014.
