On May 7, 2015 the film premiered at Dorchester Village Civic Center in Midway, Georgia. The movie has garnered attention due to using the historic Liberty County, Georgia, as a backdrop for filming. It is also one of 12,000 entries from all 50 states and was one of the 25 percent that was chosen as a winner of the Telly Award.
