A. Mohammed John is an Indian industrialist and politician. He was a member of the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Ranipet constituency. He represented the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. He was minister of the state for the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare.
The elections of 2016 resulted in his constituency being won by R. Gandhi.
Career
John is a successful industrialist in leather manufacturing and exports. He was born in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. He was twice elected to Ranipet Municipality between 1996–2001 and 2001-2006.
