A Guerra não Declarada na Visão de um Favelado is a book released in 2012 by the writer and Brazilian rap singer and former member of the Facção Central group, Carlos Eduardo Taddeo. It contains 616 pages, and was in development since 2008. Eduardo uses the same character of most of his songs in the book, which deals with social inequality in the country where you live.

The book, which had already been anticipated by hip hop culture since 2008, starkly portrays the violent relations of everyday life on the outskirts of the metropolis, following the same artistic proposal of the Central Faction complaint.

Eduardo was born and raised in the slums, lived from childhood with social violence, drug trafficking, addiction, police violence, police stations and prisons. "A violent past transformed into a source of inspiration and translated into striking compositions that tell the everyday reality of the lowest strata of society, as well as criticizing harshly those who, in the composer Eduardo view, would be the cause of the problems of social violence."
