4951 Iwamoto (1990 BM) is a main-belt binary asteroid discovered on January 21, 1990 by Yoshikane Mizuno and Toshimasa Furuta at Kani Observatory (403). A 3.34 km moon was discovered orbiting the asteroid at a distance of 31 kilometers, and an orbital period of 4 days and 22 hours.
