4836 Medon (1989 CK1) is a Jupiter Trojan discovered on February 2, 1989 by C. S. Shoemaker at Palomar.

Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1991 were used to build a light curve showing a rotation period of 9.838 ± 0.008 hours with a brightness variation of 0.24 ± 0.02 magnitude.
