4490 Ventures is a Madison, Milwaukee, and Northern Wisconsin early-stage information technology venture capital fund with 30 million dollars from the State of Wisconsin Investment Board and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. SWIB and WARF were looking to provide more local support for nascent software and hardware ventures.
Greg Robinson, a former San Francisco, California Bay Area venture capital investor, is the general partner.
