4175 Billbaum (1985 GX) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on April 15, 1985 by Ted Bowell at Flagstaff. It is named for William A. Baum. Baum worked at Lowell Observatory (Directorship of Planetary Research Center) as well as on the Hubble Space Telescope.
