38 Lyncis (38 Lyn, 38 Lyncis) is a Class A1, fourth-magnitude star in the constellation Lynx. 38 Lyncis is a binary double star located about 120 light-years from Earth. When viewed through a moderate telescope, the two components—a brighter blue-white star of magnitude 3.9 and a fainter star of magnitude 6.1 that has been described as lilac as well as blue-white—can be seen.
