The 36th Gawad Urian Awards or Ika-36 na Gawad Urian was held on June 18, 2013, at the NBC Tent in Taguig City. They honored the best Filipino films for the year 2012.
Nominations were announced on May 7, 2013, in a press conference. Surprisingly, no single mainstream movie included in the nominations this year, the Manunuri solely gave their nods to independent films Alessandra de Rossi was the most nominated performer with 3 nominations; 2 Best Supporting actress and 1 Best Actress.
Ang paglalakbay ng mga bituin sa gabing madilim was a surprised winner of the best film, besting early favorites such as Bwakaw and Thy Womb The Natatanging Gawad Urian was given to Mila del Sol
