2754 Efimov, provisionally named 1966 PD, is a main-belt binary asteroid discovered on August 13, 1966 by Tamara Smirnova at Nauchnyj. It is named in memory of the aviator Mikhail Nikiforovich Efimov (1881–1919), who was the first to realize steep turns and dives.
Astronomers discovered a moon around the asteroid in 2006 using lightcurve observations, with a diameter of 1.29 kilometers and an orbital period of 14 hours and 46 minutes.
