2741 Valdivia (1975 XG) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on December 1, 1975 by Carlos Torres at Cerro El Roble. Photometric observations made in 2003 at the Carbuncle Hill Observatory near Providence, Rhode Island give a synodic rotation period of 4.096 ± 0.001 hours. The light curve shows a brightness variation of 0.40 ± 0.03 in magnitude.
