The 2018 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships will take place in Valencia, Spain. This will be the 23rd time the event is contested and the 2nd time the event will be in Spain.
Bidding
Sopot, Poland was defeated in the bidding process. Copenhagen, Denmark was also in the running to host.
