The 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup, the 19th edition of the competition, is a women's association football tournament competed by national teams in Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It will be held in Jordan.

The tournament will serve as the qualification for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, with the top five teams qualifying.

Qualification

The qualifiers for the 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup will be held from 3 to 12 April 2017. The top three finishers of the last AFC Women's Cup qualified automatically and did not have to enter qualifying, while Jordan also qualified automatically as hosts but decided to also participate in the qualifying competition.

Rights and Sponsorships

Le Sports acquired the China rights the all-media broadcasting and signal production of the 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup. Tire manufacturer Continental announced they would be official sponsor.

Format

Eight teams are drawn into two groups of four. After playing each other once, the top two of each group advance to the semi-finals. A final and third-place match follows. There is also a fifth-place match, to determine the five teams from Asia which qualify to the World Cup.
