The 2017 Eliteserien is the 73rd season of top-tier football in Norway. Kristiansund will make their debut this season.
The 2017 season sees the name of the league change from Tippeligaen to Eliteserien, a non-sponsor affiliated name controlled by the Football Association of Norway.
Fixtures for the 2017 season were announced on 19 December 2016.
