The 2016 Pacific Tri - Nations Series will be a rugby union competition between the Fijian, Samoan and Tongan national rugby union teams to decide the qualifiers of the Rugby World Cup 2019. The top two teams from the tournament will become the automatic qualifiers for the next Rugby World Cup while the team that finishes last place will have a couple of chances to qualify in other competitions.
