The 2016 Furman Paladins football team represented Furman University in the 2016 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by sixth year head coach Bruce Fowler and played their home games at Paladin Stadium. They were a member of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 3–8, 3–5 in SoCon play to finish in sixth place.
On December 2nd, head coach Bruce Fowler resigned. He finished at Furman with a six year record of 27–43.
