The 2016 Drake Bulldogs football team represented Drake University in the 2016 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by third-year head coach Rick Fox and played their home games at Drake Stadium. They were members of the Pioneer Football League. They finished the season 7–4, 6–2 in PFL play to finish in third place.
