The 2016–17 Detroit Pistons season is the 76th season of the franchise, the 69th in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the 60th in Metro Detroit. It will also be the last season where the Pistons will play in The Palace of Auburn Hills in nearby Auburn Hills, Michigan; after this season, the Pistons will move to the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
