Professional Volleyball League SA decided to add to PlusLiga two teams - Cerrad Czarni Radom and BBTS Bielsko-Biała.

In season 2013/2014 Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Jastrzębski Węgiel have been played in CEV Champions League, PGE Skra Bełchatów in CEV Cup because of withdrawal by Transfer Bydgoszcz, AZS Politechnika Warszawska in Challenge Cup.

On October 16, 2013 Asseco Resovia Rzeszów beat ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle (3-2) and won ENEA Polish SuperCup2013 in Poznań. Most Valuable Player was Dawid Konarski.
