The Girls Singles tournament of the 2013 Asian Junior Badminton Championships was held from 10–14 July. Last year, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu from India grabbed the title.
This edition a Japanese shuttler Aya Ohori beat number 1 seed from Thailand Busanan Ongbumrungpan 21-11, 16-21, 21-13 in the final and took the crown. It was the first time ever for Japan to win the gold medal in the girls singles event.
