The 2013-14 Santiago Island League (South) season was the competition of the second and third tier football in the southern part of the island of Santiago, Cape Verde. The winner qualified into the 2014 Cape Verdean Football Championships. It started on 15 November 2013 and finished on 30 March 2014. The tournament was organized by the Santiago South Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol de Santiago Sul, ARFSS). Sporting Praia won the 8th and recent title and finished with 44 points.

Sporting Praia was the defending team of the title. A total of 21 clubs participated in the competition, 10 in the Premier Division and 11 in the Second Division. A total of 233 goals were scored, 8 goals scored in two promotional matches, its combined total is 241.

Overview

The biggest win were two matches with 5 goals, Sporting Praia 5-0 Vitória (2 March) and Tchadense 0-5 Desportivo da Praia (16 March).

The first six weeks had Desportivo took the lead, Sporting took it for the rest of the season.

Both Desportivo and Travadores scored the most number of goals numbering 37, Sporting was second with 36 and Vitòria scored the least numbering 12, a club who scored the least that was 5th place. Varanda conceded the most number of goals numbering 37, Tchadense second with 24 and Vitòria with 32, a club who conceded the most that was 5th place

There were no competition on the second week of December due to the regional cup competitions.
