The 2012 Kent State Golden Flashes baseball team represents Kent State University in the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Golden Flashes are coached by 8th year head coach Scott Stricklin and play their home games at Olga Mural Field at Schoonover Stadium. Kent State won its tenth Mid-American Conference Baseball Tournament and advanced to the Super Regional round where they defeated Oregon to win a trip to the 2012 College World Series for the first time in school history. The Golden Flashes were eliminated from the College World Series after compiling a record in the NCAA Tournament of 6-3.
