2011 US Open – Men's Singles

Rafael Nadal was the defending champion, but was defeated in the final by Novak Djokovic with a score of 6–2, 6–4, 6–7(3–7), 6–1 in a rematch of the 2010 final. Djokovic claimed his first US Open title, his third Grand Slam of the year, and his fourth Grand Slam overall.

This was also the first time the men's singles champion at the US Open won the title after being match point down since Andy Roddick in 2003, with Djokovic saving two match points against Roger Federer in the semifinals. The next time this would happen at the US Open was during the 2016 tournament, where Stan Wawrinka saved one match point against Dan Evans in the 4th round en route to winning the title.
