The 2007 US Open – Mixed Doubles was an event that was won by Victoria Azarenka and Max Mirnyi. The venerable doubles specialist Max Mirnyi teamed up with countrywoman Victoria Azarenka to form an unseeded but highly dangerous doubles team; proving how fortified they were by knocking out top seeds Lisa Raymond and Nenad Zimonjić in the first round. It was Azarenka's first Grand Slam victory, and complemented a successful campaign in the singles, where she reached the fourth round at a Grand Slam for the first time, knocking out Martina Hingis en route, and going one round further than defending champion Maria Sharapova.
