2007 North Dakota State Bison football team

The 2007 North Dakota State Bison Football Team represented North Dakota State University in the 2007 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Bison head coach is Craig Bohl, in his fifth season as head coach of the team. The Bison play at the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota. North Dakota State competes in the FCS division of college football. In 2007, the Bison finished with a record of 10-1, 3-1 in conference to finish in second place. While being ranked in the top 5 in both polls the entire year, NDSU was ineligible to make the playoffs per NCAA Division I rules which mandates a 4-year probationary period for new football programs (NDSU entered DI in 2004), 2007 was the Bison's last year of ineligibility.

During their first 4 years after moving to Division I (2004-2007), NDSU had a record of 35-9 (.795) and were ranked in the top-25 32 out of 44 weeks.

NDSU ran through the season averaging 40 points per game and allowing just 22 points to opponents. In terms of offensive output, the Bison totaled 4,855 total yards of offense which is an average of 441 yards per game.
