This is the second time Sudan Hosts the Arab League summit, the first being the 1967 Arab League summit, one of the most important Arab League summits, since it followed the Arab Israeli Six Day War. while most Arab Leaders attended the summit, the Saudi King Abdullah and the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak were absent.
