All the 5 Commercial Networks airs the Daytime Monday–Friday Schedules for each calendar season beginning in September 2001. All Times are in Eastern; affiliate schedules may differ.

Talk shows are highlighted in yellow, local programming is white, reruns of prime-time programming are orange, game shows are pink, soap operas are chartreuse, news programs are gold and all others are light blue. New series are highlighted in bold. Syndicated programs are listed in italics.

Fall 2001

NOTES:

  1. Fox returned its daytime programming hours back to its affiliates when Fox Kids ended its weekday block in December 2001. Many Fox affiliates preempted kids programming in daytime or deferred it to other television stations, opting to air syndicated programs or local news instead.
  2. The Other Half aired on NBC's owned-and-operated stations, and in broadcast syndication on other television stations.
  3. On September 11, all of the Five Networks suspended their daytime programing due to live coverage the September 11 attacks. Daytime programming resumed for Fox and The WB on September 12, while the other networks resumed their daytime programming on September 17.
