The 2000 Skate America was an international, senior-level invitation-only figure skating competition organized by the USFSA. It was the first ISU Grand Prix event of the season. Medals were awarded in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

The 2000 competition was held at the World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado from October 26 through 29th. The compulsory dance was the Westminster Waltz.

Men

Guo Zhengxin was assigned to Skate America but did not compete.
