Steffi Graf defeated Gabriela Sabatini 6–4, 3–6, 8–6 in the final to win the Ladies' Singles title at the 1991 Wimbledon Championships. After splitting the first two sets, Sabatini served twice for the title, and was two points away from her second Grand Slam win before Graf rallied. With the victory, Graf captured her third Wimbledon Singles Championship, while it proved to be Sabatini's third and final appearance in a Grand Slam final.
