The 1981 Finance Funders season was the seventh season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

Summary

Formerly known as Honda Hagibis last season. Finance, Inc. brought in 7-foot-1 Canadian Olympian Jim Zoet and 6-8 Michael Carter as their imports for the Open Conference. The Funders lost their first three games before scoring their first win of the season against Presto Fun Drinks on March 28. Michael Carter played four games and was replaced by James Woods while his partner Jim Zoet played nine games and was replaced by B.B. Davis. Finance lost their last six games in the conference for a lowly 5-13 won-loss card, only better than the 4-14 of Presto Fun Drinks and 1-17 of Yco-Tanduay.

In the Reinforced Filipino Conference, despite the presence of their high-scoring import Jessie Boyd, the Funders didn't qualify in the next round, finishing the one-round elimination phase with 3 wins and 6 losses.
