The 1980 UCF Knights football season was the UCF Knights football second season. Head coach Don Jonas compiled a 4–4–1 overall record, including the programs only tie against Miles.
The Knights competed as an NCAA Division III Independent. The Knights played their home games at Orlando Stadium, now known as the Citrus Bowl, in Downtown Orlando.
