The 1978 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final was the 91st All-Ireland Final and the deciding match of the 1978 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, an inter-county Gaelic football tournament for the top teams in Ireland.

Kerry won by seventeen points, with Mikey Sheehy scoring his famous lobbed goal as goalie Paddy Cullen argues with the referee. This was one of the Top 20 GAA Moments chosen by RTÉ in 2005. It also features on the 1978 episode of Reeling in the Years.

Kevin Moran, the future Manchester United soccer player, was on the losing Dublin side that day.

It was the third of four All-Ireland football titles won by Kerry in the 1970s.
