The 1973 San Diego Toreros football team represented the University of San Diego in the 1973 NCAA Division III football season. The Toreros finished the season with a record of 9–2–1, losing in the NCAA Division III Semifinals to the Wittenberg Tigers. Head coach Andy Vinci helped fund the football program by using annuities and lodging players in local hotels.
