Australia's John Newcombe and Tony Roche were the defending men's doubles champions at the 1969 Wimbledon Championships, and successfully defended their title, beating Tom Okker of the Netherlands and America's Marty Riessen in the final in straight sets - 7-5, 11-9, 6-3. It was the second of three consecutive Wimbledon titles for the Australian pair, and the third of five Wimbledon titles that they would earn together in their career.
