1956 NCAA Skiing Championships

The 1956 NCAA Skiing Championships were contested in Winter Park, Colorado at the third annual NCAA-sanctioned ski tournament to determine the individual and team national champions of men's collegiate alpine, cross country skiing, and ski jumping in the United States.

Denver, coached by Willy Schaeffler, claimed the national championship for the third consecutive year, once again topping Dartmouth in the team standings. It was the third national title for both Denver and coach Schaeffler.

Venue

This year's championships were contested at the Winter Park Resort in Winter Park, Colorado.

These were the first NCAA championships hosted at Winter Park, in the state of Colorado, and within the Rocky Mountains.
