1953 New South Wales Grand Prix

The 1953 New South Wales Grand Prix was a motor race held at the Gnoo Blas Motor Racing Circuit, Orange, New South Wales, Australia on 5 October 1953. The race, which was organised by the Australian Sporting Car Club, was contested over a distance of 100 miles. It was staged on a handicap basis with prize money allocated for the first ten positions and additional prizes offered for the first three scratch placings.

The handicap win, and the New South Wales Grand Prix title were awarded to Jack Robinson driving a Jaguar XK120 Special.
