The 1916 Clemson Tigers football team represented the Clemson Tigers of Clemson Agricultural College during the 1916 college football season. Under first year head coach Wayne Hart, the team posted a 3–6 record. S. S. Major was the captain. Stumpy Banks caught two touchdowns against rival South Carolina.
