Laurence Doherty defeated William Clothier 6–3, 6–2, 6–3 in the All Comers' Final of the 1903 U.S. Men's National Singles Championship which was delayed by a day due to rain. Doherty went on to defeat defending champion William Larned in the Challenge Round 6–0, 6–3, 10–8. The event was held at the Newport Casino in Newport, R.I., USA. The entry list consisted of 97 players which was slightly smaller than that of the previous year.
