The 1895 Mexico Census was the first census that took place in Mexico. It took place on October 20, 1895, and the total population was 12,700,294. The results also showed that most Mexicans were Catholic.
Languages in Mexico
Mostly all Mexicans spoke Castilian also known as Spanish. The most spoken indigenous language was Nahuatl following was Mayan. There were foreign languages spoken as well coming from immigrants like French, German and Italian.
