Station layout

This underground station has three tracks and two side platforms. The tile band is Claret red with a black border; the tile captions show "182" at the south end and change to "183" midway to the north end, similar to the arrangement at the 174th–175th Streets station.

Exits

The mezzanine used to be full length, but has been reduced in size. There are four stairs to 182nd Street and four more to each platform. Crossover is only allowed from the northern two stairs. The now closed 183rd and 184th Streets passageway has former booths with an additional staircase closed at the far north end. There are two additional closed exits at the south end; these have been sealed over at street level.
