1765 Wrubel, provisionally designated 1957 XB, is a main-belt asteroid, discovered on December 15, 1957 by the Indiana Asteroid Program at Goethe Link Observatory in the U.S. state of Indiana. It measures about 42 kilometers in diameter and has a rare Dx-spectral type (Tholen).

The asteroid is named in honor of Marshal Henry Wrubel, professor and faculty member at Indiana University. He was co-founder of the Indiana University Research Computing Center and a pioneer in the use of high speed computers for astrophysical computations.
