14 Aquilae (abbreviated 14 Aql) is a single star in the equatorial constellation of Aquila. 12 Aquilae is the Flamsteed designation though it also bears the Bayer designation g Aquilae. Its apparent magnitude is 5.42 and it is located at a distance of approximately 500 light-years (150 parsecs) from Earth. This is an A-type main sequence star with a stellar classification of A1 V. It is about twice the radius of the Sun and has a high rate of rotation with a projected rotational velocity of 23 km/s.
