11th Army (People's Republic of China)

The 11th Army was a military formation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from the 1940s, and during the Sino-Vietnamese War of 1979. It was stationed in the Kunming Military Region.

The 11th Army was composed of the 31st Division 31st Division and 32nd Division 32nd Division. During the war its commander was Chen Jiagui, and Political Commissar-Zhang Qi.

The army was active until seemingly being disbanded in the 1980s.
